Shortly before Christmas 1999, Dad acquired a scanner of some sort, or else a digital camera, and decided rightly to favor me with certain experiments therewith. Therefore I gladly present them to you, complete with editorial comments as I see fit.

Dad

• Ever notice how you never see him and Coach Solich in the same place at once?
• Reading again, in a chair the guys got him one Christmas.

  Andrew's observing a moment of silence in case I ever drive, while Taylor's brimming with glee.

• Advertising the Muldrow Bulldogs, the "friendliest" of Checotah's Big Four rivals.

  Sometimes Oklahoma weather can be as picturesque as that of western Nebraska ... and just as unappealing to drive.

  Todd sent me these as his commentary on summer-of-2000 gas prices.

• An ad in German. More accurately, a birthday card saying, essentially, "Best Wishes."
• Speaking of roses, Oranges and Lemons might be growing in Dad's garden, but I'm not sure. It's pretty, though.
